In this article, we will be talking about the welding bead on C15 exhaust sleeves, we will do some comparison among original, other AM factory and MJ version. Besides, you can watch the video to learn more.
The gasket and the sleeve on the original C15 2818261 are welded to each other. Below is the picture of the original exhaust sleeve welding bead, it is smooth and flat on the surface, when the sleeve is being installed, the sleeve goes all the way into the engine, all you can see from the front and side after installing will only be the gasket.
Original 2818261
We are able to gain a 2818261 from other aftermarket manufacture, the welding bead is very thick out from the surface, this way the sleeve cannot go all the way into the engine, not only the rest of the gasket cannot function properly it would also affect the whole engine, this is a true complain from our client.
Other AM 2818261
Our version of 2818261, we do not weld, we use the one-piece mold to manufacture the sleeve as a whole piece, not only the sleeve can definitely go all the way into the engine, in the meantime, you don’t have to worry about the welding bead would snap and break the exhaust.
MJ no welding One-piece 2818261
We believe that the OEM ones will be just fine, but if you are looking for a safer and cost-efficient replacement parts, I will recommend our One-piece 2818261 C15 exhaust sleeves. You are welcome to contact us below for free samples.
